Windows 7, another disaster in the midst?
November 5th, 2008 by Michael SmythMicrosoft have begun to release a dribble of demos of the next Microsoft OS, it is called Windows 7.
Microsoft are calling this a maintenance release, which is an industry term for the one that will sort out all the problems of the last product.
The reception for vista was terrible, there were so many bugs and incompatibility issues.
I hope this is not another disappointment, although I don’t think much is going to change in the next instalment.
It boasts a touch screen interface and…. well actually that’s it.
To be honest, I think it’s a good thing that not much has changed, when a product was working perfectly well, many editions ago, i.e. Windows 98. Why change it.
I suppose a touch screen would be pretty cool.
I will have to buy one. Oh pooh, more money to the evil Microsoft.
