Competition drives accessible web

April 18th, 2008 by Michael Smyth

Nokia is driving forward a new technology, an advancement to 3G, called 4G (top marks for originality).

This is a direct competitor to Intel’s WiMax. Both technologies provide wireless network access, but with larger coverage and reliability than current services.

You can read more about WiMax in one of my previous blogs click here.

It is great that Nokia have developed this service because it opens up the wireless Internet market.

Ultimately resulting in each provider to drive service quality up and prices down, YES!

So it means more accessible web for us all.
