Photosi purchased its HP Indigo Press 5500 for its flexibility, reliability, and ability to produce high-resolution images and color prints cost-effectively, enabling the company to focus on innovations in digital photography.

The HP Indigo Press 5500 can produce near-silver halide quality on photo-specialty items ensuring that Photosi can fulfill its customers’ demands for offset quality. It uses HP’s liquid ink technology and features Light Cyan and Light Magenta inks thus ensuring that shadows and shading are accurately replicated and skin tones are smoothened and enhanced adding value to applications. The HP Indigo Press 5500 is capable of printing more than 1.5 million A4 color pages per month and provides unmatched print quality and productivity.

Hewlett Packard has extended its collaboration with Magnum Photos, one of the world’s most respected cooperatives of professional photographers. For the first time in North America, HP showcased the Designjet Z3200 Photo Printer, which lets creative professionals and print service providers produce gallery-quality black and white and color prints.
