Imprimerie Uses Xeikon Printers for High Quality Output
August 1st, 2008 by RyanParis-based digital printer Imprimerie LV is the first to operate the brand new Xeikon 8000. The French firm is known for its high-quality work – perfectly suited for the Xeikon 8000’s offset-challenging print quality (1200 dpi at 4 bits per spot) and industry-best top speed (230ppm).
Imprimerie LV was founded in 1993 and two years later, they decided to specialize in digital printing only. They acquired one of the first Xeikon engines and have subsequently evolved along Xeikon’s growth path, systematically upgrading its equipment with the newest Xeikon engines. Imprimerie LV beta-tested the DCP/50D in 1998 and the Xeikon 5000 in 2004. They were also the first to install a Xeikon 6000 and this made the Xeikon 8000 the next logical step.
Imprimerie LV counts several key brands and large communication agencies operating in Paris among its customers. The new Xeikon 8000 will be used for high-quality, large volume variable data productions such as personalized marketing documents, transactional and transpromo applications for financial institutions.
