The FSC members comprises representatives from environmental groups, social concerns, timber producers, paper producers and indigenous peoples representatives. Their role is to see that the forests are managed to respect the rights and needs of local people and to protect wildlife habitats.

Recycled papers are available at 100% recycled content, or a mix of recycled and new. The latter enables a better quality of paper to be produced, while still maintaining a high degree of recycling.
