Sale Sharks deal is extended
August 30th, 2006 by everydayprint
With rugby having become big business in recent times, marketing bosses at Sale Sharks last year recognised a need for a highly professional and consistent quality of print across a wide variety of marketing collateral. After a competitive tendering process, everydayprint was selected as the club’s preferred print suppliers and twelve months on, managing director, Jason Walker, is delighted to announce that the deal has been extended.
Jason comments: “When I first spoke with Sharks’ commercial manager, Nathan Bombrys, it was clear that the club required a high quality centralised service. Part of that was the need for consistency not only of print quality but also of how the Sale Sharks brand was projected to its customer base – both on the terraces and across the regional business community.
“We were delighted to be given the initial opportunity to deliver on those requirements and if anything, we are now even more thrilled to have extended our relationship.”
As Nathan Bombrys explains, the new deal will see everydayprint fulfil the club’s requirements across the vast majority of its marketing and promotional activity. He explains: “Everything from direct mail pieces, posters and leaflets to our table plans and other non-match day conferencing and banqueting collateral will be handled by everydayprint.
“I want to work with companies who want to help the Sharks win the Heineken Cup and Guinness Premiership and the company’s commitment in that respect has been unerring. Not only have they proved themselves to be eminently capable and professional but every time we use them, we feel like we’re their number one customer and that’s exactly how it should be.
“From small print runs to jobs that see the production of tens of thousands of units, the print quality and turn around is always first class. It is vital for us to have absolute confidence in our print supplier and I know that everyone at the club is delighted that we will be continuing to work with Jason and his team for another season.”
