Demand Sees Large Format Printer Purchase

March 13th, 2007 by everydayprint

In response to increased demand from its growing client base, Poynton (UK) Everydayprint, has invested a four-figure sum in a new Xerox 8265 large format printer.

Designed for indoor and outdoor print applications, the Xerox 8265 is claimed to produce wide format images at speed and can print on a variety of materials, including canvas, vinyl and film. As Everydayprint managing director, Jason Walker, explained: ‘The acquisition represents a significant landmark in Everydayprint’s development.

In any line of business, it is important not to rest on your laurels and having noticed a shift in the requirements of a number of clients, we have moved swiftly to ensure that we continue to meet them.’ He added: ‘The Xerox 8265 provides unrivalled productivity for wide format colour document production and is ideal for the creation of everything from vinyl banners and shop window displays to point of sale and vehicle livery graphics.

In addition, for anyone wishing to reproduce personal photographs on a large scale, we have already produced several prints that have been blown up to almost life size before being mounted on a living room wall to make superb centre pieces.’ The new machine is said to have a high image resolution of 720 dots per inch (dpi) x 720dpi and variable droplet size.

It also prints at claimed speeds of up to 22 square metres per hour and offers a choice of four-colour or six-colour eco-solvent ink sets.

There is also a guarantee that it can print on any items used outdoors and that the printed product will last for a minimum of three years, added Everydayprint.

Walker commented: ‘We have invested in a piece of equipment that will enable us to offer more services to a broader range of clients.

I am confident that this will prove to be a wise investment and that our clients will only benefit as a result of our having made it.’
