BlackBerry’s are ‘the’ business tool of the moment.  Now it is possible to scan in business cards and store them electronically on your BlackBerry.

The device is CardScan, which is a business card scanner which reads and store details taken from business cards. Apparently it does a great job of detecting the name, company name phone numbers etc and stores them on its internal database. The new piece of software, which is an add-on for the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, synchronises your phone with the CardScan database.

When you receive a business card scan it in and then synchronise it with your BlackBerry. The details from the business card will always be with you, as long as you have your phone!
